Due workshop saranno dedicati il prossimo autunno alla perforazione della Piattaforma delle Sonda: l'ECORD MagellanPlus Workshop DRILLING THE SE-ASIAN SUNDA SHELF: Plio-Pleistocene climate, sea level, carbon storage and continental weathering on the largest low latitude shelf system (9-11 ottobre 2023, Edimburgo) per favorire la stesura di un MSP proposal, col contributo dei due proposal IODP già attivi 1005 e 1007, e il 4th International Workshop on Drilling the Sunda Shelf (8-9 Novembre 2023, Shanghai)
